The Character
Yarberry takes the stage with a hilarious personality that captures the imagination of each audience member, taking them back to a time when characters of the Wild West ruled the land. Based on the life of an actual historical figure, the performer is a "living history" lesson sure to delight any audience. Born in 1849 in Walnut Ridge Arkansas, Yarberry lived a colorful life and ended up being Albuquerque's first elected Sheriff. Convicted of murder, he was sentenced to death. He met his fate at the end of a rope on February 9, 1883.

"Living history" is the term used for historical re-enactors. Whether it is a stage performance or a walk-aroung chat, the performer engages the audience members about the life and times encountered by the character. Think of it as stepping onto the set of an Old West movie.
